We supply on a business to buiness basis only. In placing any orders with Ardent System you accept that you are doing so in a business capacity and not as an individual consumer, and agree that any subsequent contract if formed shall be on a business to business basis .

Your order confirmation is for your convenience only and does not constitute an acceptance of your order.
Acceptance, if provided by email, will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time Ardent Systems sends the email to you (whether or not you receive that email).

Title in the goods shall not pass to the customer until all sums due from the customer to the supplier on any account have been paid.


"RRP Price" - any "list price" used on this Site represents the manufacturers' suggested selling prices and may not be indicative of the prevailing selling prices at any specific time and place in your area.

"Our Price" - despite our careful attention to pricing, an item could be mis-priced inadvertently. If an item's correct price is lower than our quoted price, we will charge the lower (correct) amount and deliver the item to you. You "Save" - all references to your "savings" on this Site are based on your average savings relative to the "list price" excluding the VAT calculation.

Your Order

We reserve the right to substitute goods within your order with goods of an equivalent nature (eg a blue stapler for a red one). If you do not wish to accept the substituted goods then you must notify us within 24 hours and arrange with us to return them to us within 5 working days of their receipt. Do NOT return items without prior agreement and arrangement.

Shipping And Handling Shipping of small items will be made by national carrier services, and require signature on delivery. Large and heavy items will be made by specialist carriers, and may require prior arrangement with the customer due to any special handling required.

Delivery commencement is subject to availability of stock.

Delivery charges assume strainghtforward access.

For bulky or heavy items (e.g furniture) the access is assumed to be straight forward, level, and at ground floor.
We reserve the right to raise additional charge for deliveries that do not meet these conditions, or for large/bulky items which incur large delivery charges. You will be notified of these charges when you place the order/before we deliver and can cancel the order if not acceptable to you.

Delivery is currently only available to mainland England, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. Highlands and Island are not currently serviced. Any orders placed for locations outside our usual delivery area may be cancelled, or supplied subject to agreeing revised delivery charges with you prior to accepting your order.
All delivery and handling fees are charged for these services associated with the delivery of our products or other services to you, and are non refundable once the delivery or handling service has been performed.
Delivery Schedule All shipments will be made with the minimum of delay.

Items held in stock will normally be despatched on the same day providing the order is received before 3.30pm. Working days are Monday to Friday, and exclude Public Bank Holidays in England.

Items made to order or that are not in stock at the time of order will be despatched on the same day that they become available.

Next Day Delivery will normally be made within 24 hours subject to stock availability.
Standard Delivery service aims to deliver within 48 hours, but may take 3 - 5 days depending on carrier and subject to stock availability.
Special orders will have timescales quoted at time of order.

We make best endeavours to get your goods to you as soon as possible.
However, we cannot accept any liability for losses, consequential or otherwise, incurred as a result of later than expected delivery.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. If your item will not return to a stock situation within 5 working days you will be emailed with the delivery forecast and have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges All orders will have VAT charged at the prevailing rate applicable.
Credit Card Security All credit/debit card details are only entered onto a secure 3rd pary payment service provider (PSP) site.
We do not hold your full card details at any time on our website, and therefore you are afforded the highest levels of card security available.
Guarantee Should you be unhappy with any aspect of our service or products, please contact us and we will attempt to resolve your issues.

Many of our products are covered by manufacturers warranty, details of which can be provided on request at time of purchase. Your normal statutory rights are unaffected by manufacturers warantees.

Returns Policy Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. Any faulty goods recieved should be notified in writing to us, as soon as possible and within 1 working day (24 hours) of delivery. Suitable remedy including the replacement will be dealt with as soon as possible.

Refunds will be made only with the express agreement of Ardent Systems Ltd.
If a return is agreed, the return must be made by a method of return or collection agreed in advance with us. We will not be held liable for refunds, if goods are returned without prior agreement, or not made by a pre agreed method of return.

Cancellation of orders for reasons other than for fault or not matching the description will be considered at the discretion of ardent Systems Ltd. Refunds associated with discretionary cancellation and returns may only receive a refund of 65% of the original contract purchase price. The amount of refund may be varied at our discretion. Charges for services such as delivery that have been performed are not liable to any refund.

Exceptions relating to returns for any reason exist in accordance with the relevant laws, are for software, videos, CDs or any transfer media containing but not limited to information, music, video and data.
